At Metrodora's House, we are dedicated to providing community focused gynecologic care in a supportive, inclusive environment. Along with traditional gynecology services, including routine annual exams, Menopause care, and STI testing, we also offer physician-lead aesthetic treatments including Platelet Rich Plasma and Neurotoxin injections. We prioritize accessibility and holistic health, ensuring that every individual feels empowered and understood during their healthcare journey.
Rooted in the legacy of Metrodora, an ancient physician renowned for her contributions to gynecologic care, our clinic emphasizes community and connection. We are committed to being queer affirming, menopause certified, and neurodivergent friendly.
By offering tiered, needs-based pricing, we allow our clients to choose based on their individual situation, without having to provide invasive documentation. Our goal is to cultivate strong, trusting relationships based on compassionate and informed gynecologic care.
Meet Your Physician
Dr. Kelsey Ward
Board Certified Gynecologist, Menopause Society Certified Practitioner
Dr. Kelsey Ward is a gynecologist who believes healthcare works better for everyone when there's enough time to actually listen. She's spent her career caring for people across the full span of gynecologic health, with particular attention to menopause, perimenopause, sexual health & wellness, and the different ways symptoms show up for different people.
Kelsey has called New Orleans home for much of her life, and sees the beauty and individualism that makes the Marigny so special. Practicing queer and trans affirming care, anyone with a vagina is welcome at Metrodora's House! In 2026, Kelsey decided to leave corporate medicine to open a community supported clinic. Her intent was to establish a space for people to ask the questions they've been carrying, openly talk about bodies and the ways they change, and get care that actually makes sense for their lives.
